A wide variety of components can generally be found to correlate with any acne outbreak. The more correlating components of acne you are able to eliminate the greater your chances of avoiding major acne outbreaks. Most of us only know one or two anecdotal causes of acne, but don’t really understand which of the things we may be doing daily may be contributing to acne outbreaks.

4 Common Causes Of Acne

1. Improper Pillow Hygiene

Many of us don’t bother to change our pillowcases until they develop an odor. Not only does failure to wash or change pillowcases regularly correlate to acne outbreaks, but a variety of other health and immune system conditions are adversely correlated to poor pillow hygiene.

2. Animal Fats

Fried chicken may not be the best thing for you if you’re prone to acne outbreaks. Actually, you need to avoid unhealthy fats in general. Try eating more vegetables and fruits instead. If you find you are having difficulty getting full on vegetables and fruits, feel free to eat plenty of whole grains and a few nuts with each meal. Avocados are also a filling fat with beneficial oils, rather than detrimental oils.

3. Polluted Environment

Dirty air and dirty water are unfortunately correlated with bad acne outbreaks. Unfortunately for many people, these are impossible to avoid. Just do the best you can. Whenever you’re around clean water take advantage of it for drinking and cleansing.

4. Something in the Genes

Unfortunately, you can’t really change whatever it is in your genes that may be a component of acne breakouts. The best you can do is to minimize the other components which are at work. Genes alone are probably not enough to cause acne, if other components are removed.

A king-size comforter is definitely big. It can occupy most of the space in your washing machine. Most of those who are using a top load washing machine might have to hand wash their comforters in king size. The tub space inside a top loader is just not enough.

However, if you have a top load machine with tub capacity bigger than a front loader, then you can use it. But generally, a fair-sized front loader does the trick. So, to get this work out of the way, here are some of the steps in washing:

Step 1: Remove comforter from your bed. You can wash this separately or include this with your pillowcases if there is still more room. Remember that if you want your washer to clean this efficiently, you should give it a lot of room to tumble.

Step 2: Normally, all fabrics have washing instructions sewn on one side of it. Check your brand of comforter if it comes with that instruction. You should see instructions like hand-washed or no bleach or sun dry. If you can be washed using a washing machine, then you can use your washer. Otherwise, you might only be allowed to use dry cleaning. In this case, you have to take your comforter to the dry cleaner.

Step 3: Slightly fluff the comforter up and then dump it in your washer. Make sure you have placed it evenly. Now program the machine to the right settings. Use warm washing settings to remove any dirt and stains in it. If there is machine washing recommendation in the tag attached to the comforter, follow it.

Step 4: Allow the machine to finish washing your comforter. After it is completely finished, you can now hang it outside to dry. You can also use your dryer but if it is an electric dryer, it might take forever to dry completely. You can also dry it for a few minutes in the washer’s dryer and take it out while it is still slightly damp and let the warmth of the sun finish the job for you.

All these steps are only applicable if your comforter is washer-safe. If you have a steam washer, you can use that to wash but if not, just go to your nearest dry cleaner and have it cleaned. Another option is to clean it manually. However, that would be too much work for a large comforter.

Duvet covers and pillow shams in simple vivid square designs or decorative floral motif constructed on matelasse material can provide a fantabulous effect in your bedroom design. Matelasse fabric is meant to imitate the style of hand-stitched Marseilles type quilt made in Provence, France.

Matelasse is a French word meaning, “quilted” or cushioned. Usage with fabric refers to hand quilted textiles. It is a fabric which can either be hand-stitched to produce the decorative features of the fabric or woven on a jacquard loom that could automatically weave complicated patterns. Although it is unpadded, matelasse textiles appear to be one because it is heavy and thick.

Usually, the fabric is 100% cotton but can also be found in cotton and polyester blend. It is elegant and comfortable and the casual design seems to improve in every washing. It is a favorite for French provincial décor and shabby chic because it mimics style of art from older design periods that look a little bit worn but pleasingly aged and elegant and look as though they have been handed down for generations.

Matelasse fabric is used on upholstery for slip covers and throw pillows. In bedding, for coverlets, throw blankets, duvet covers and pillow shams, also in children and crib bedding. Coverlets and bedding are often made with a scalloped edging, but are also available in a simple hemmed edge. The fabric is typically woven in solid colors with easement on the patterns for embellishment. However some makers create beautiful designs in bold colors to complement the existent stitching. The unique quilted fabric was once utilized in handbags, dresses, and suits during the l960′s.

Ardent sewing enthusiasts can make their own matelasse fabric using basic quilting skills. It can be as simple or intricately designed quilt as one would desire. If you crave a sense of accomplishment, have some patience and an interest, you can begin quilting yourself. Patience is required throughout all levels of quilting; quilting is not ever a “rush job.”A simple quilt pattern may be the best choice.

Antique and online stores sell antique and heirloom blankets made of matelasse fabric. Cost varies from extremely affordable to very expensive price depending on the material used and where it came from. Individual collectors may have some items made of matelasse fabric, but who would want to sell his/her cherished collections? Some people collect antique coverlets or throw blankets, hanging them on rods as decorative artifacts.

Clutter Cutter.

De-clutter your bedroom when you begin your fluff-up. Nothing kills romance faster than a pile of dusty magazines and techno paraphernalia.

2.	Maid Brigade.

Next comes the dust rag and vacuum. Turn on some music and make it fun!

3.	Sensuous Sheets.

Purchase some colorful new sheets in a pattern you love with a thread count of at least 300.

4.	Divine Duvet.

Invest in a pretty new duvet cover or bedspread. It will freshen up the room instantly.

5.	Pillow Pizzazz.

Some new pillows and pillowcases that coordinate with your sheets and duvet will add softness to your bed.

6.	Flower Finesse.

Buy some fresh flowers and put them in a favorite vase.

7.	Candle Cozy.

A few flickering candles will add instant romance to your new B&B bedroom.

8.	Music Magic.

Now for some light jazz or classical music to set the tone for the evening.

9.	TV Tune-out.

Unless you and your mate purposely choose to watch a funny or romantic movie together, turn the TV off.

10. Tray of Delights.

Bring in a beverage and cheese tray with some fresh fruit, dim the lights, and you’re on your way to a lovely and romantic stay in your very own Bed & Breakfast Inn bedroom.

Your bedroom is your Personal Paradise: Large houses might have separate areas for specific functions. A spacious Tudor-style house might have a Complete Amenities such as:

o	Wooden Library case/shelf

o	Wooden Dressing room

o	Wooden Piano room

o	Sports room

o	Wooden Recreation room

o	Room for Prayer.

o	Wooden Night stand

o	Wooden Canopy bed

o	Wooden Walk-in closet (entryway)

o	Wooden Dresser

o	Wooden Study table

o	Wooden TV set cabinet

o	Wooden Leather couch

o	Wooden items for Shower room/Powder room/Lou/or toilet.

It can have small bedrooms with just a bed made up of pure wooden furniture. Get a bed pillow that’s just right for the way you sleep – perhaps a down pillow you can hug, squash, or rumple around in any way, or a foam pillow that doesn’t shift around when you sleep. Make sure that you get authentic cotton or feather pillows if you are sensitive to synthetic pillow fillings. Invest in quality pillows that last perennial.

For your bed covers, duvets, blankets and pillowcases, choose a sheet fabric that you feel you’re comfortable with – they come in cotton, chenille, linen, or satin. Pick a color that’s soothing to the eyes, like the pale shades of green, blue, lavender or yellow.

A small study table at one corner of the room is a good place for you to lay your document folders or your computer. You may also install a reading lamp and a hanging book shelf overhead the desk.
If you’re into 24-hour movie channels or late-night talk shows, you can set up your television on the wall opposite to your bed. Find a TV rack than can also serve as an organizer for your other gears like PlayStation, CD’s, and video players.

Your bedroom is also a safe haven for your collector’s items, souvenirs, or memorabilia. With glass curio cabinets, you can view your collection any time of the day when you feel like reminiscing the past while relaxing. You can also use a corner curio cabinet to fill that empty nook on your bedroom.

Lighting, Windows, and Walls: Dormant times: You can set up one fluorescent light at the center of your bedroom ceiling, as you might need a generous amount of light when reading or fixing your room at night. You may also put a reading lamp on top of your night stand. If you would like to sleep with a little bit of light on, you can have wall lamps or sconces installed on your bedroom.
Your bedroom window should allow enough natural daylight and, at the same time, provide you security while you sleep in the middle of the night. If you live in high-rise condominium buildings and you have one of those large glass windows in your bedroom, you can furnish it with vertical blinds or draperies but you need to let some sunlight to peep in for avoiding moisture and fond smells from the background of the room.

Paint your bedroom walls instead of covering them with wall paper. This will save you from the tedious effort of gluing the paper and peeling them off in case you want to redecorate. Choose paint in relaxing colors, but you need to get those that match the color and style of your bedroom furniture.

OK. So you have decided to take the plunge and start quilting. The challenge is that you do not feel comfortable with your sewing machine. What you need are some easy projects to get you started, but that do not feel like you are wasting your time. The following list of projects make great gifts and you will also have great practice when it comes to tackle your first quilt.

Wallets

Wallets are wonderful. What I’m thinking of specifically, is the Wonder Wallet pattern by Lazy Girl Designs. I’ve made so many of these because they are easy and practical. Over Christmas I used them as gift card holders. Because they only use half a fat quarter, you can go crazy over novelty prints without taxing your budget. With this pattern, you will get used to sewing in a straight line and using your walking foot.

Once you are confident with wallets, your next project can be a quilted purse.

Pillowcases

Pillowcases are all straight lines. Again, using novelty prints, these makes great gifts for young kids. I made pillowcases last Christmas out of High School Musical flannel. My nieces loved them!

Another benefit is that once you feel confident with your skills, you can make a quilt out of the same material. The recipient will get both the quilt and pillowcases. Now that is thoughtful!

Coasters

Folks who work in offices will appreciate a set of coasters to keep their desks nice. The upgrade for this project will be place mats to match the coasters.

Bookmarks

A quilted bookmark is the perfect gift for the reader in the family. You can choose the fabric and design according to the recipient’s hobbies. Adding a book with this gift would be a nice touch. Another option is just to make a bookmark for yourself. I know that I have a hard time keeping up with them.

Tote bags

You can easily find tote bag patterns all over the Internet for good reason – they are easy and practical. If fact, you can have a tote bag for different reasons. You could have a tote bag for the grocery store, a tote bag for the library and a tote bag for work. You’ll learn how to sew in a straight line. If you are a ready to branch out, you could use a quilt block as decoration on the bag.

Cranking out wallets, pillowcases, coasters, bookmarks and tote bags will have you getting comfortable with your sewing machine in no time. While you’re producing lovely handmade goodies, you’ll also be preparing yourself to start quilting.

It’s spring and you are looking forward to spending time at your summer cottage. Sprucing it up a bit, and making a few not too pricey changes, will make it feel like new again. It will take a bit of time and creativity, but not a lot of money.

If your old, shabby chic furniture is looking more shabby and less chic, make some simple slipcovers out of canvas. It is a strong fabric, and easy to wash. To dress it up a bit, recover a few pillows and toss them on the furniture. You can use fabric remnants, or make it super classy by buying a used pair of vintage curtains (they can be stained or torn a bit) and using that fabric to make your pillows. You can get three 20″ square pillows from one panel!

Whether your cottage has hardwood floors or linoleum, you can brighten them up with large area rugs. They can be pricey, but how about buying a few small ones and simply stitching them together? Lay out the design before you start.

Dress-up the bedroom by taking a set of sheets and pillowcases and adding an eyelet border to the top sheet and pillowcases…should take less than half an hour for the whole job!

Take that worn looking basket and spray paint it a light green. When it is dry, rub it with some steel wool to make it look antique. It can be a centerpiece on your table (filled with fresh fruit), hold magazines in your living room, towels in the bathroom, or rock and shell collections anywhere!

If not for the fact that Christmas is a time of laughter and merriment, the yuletide season can be awfully frustrating especially for people who have a budget to think of. With lots of expenses for the Christmas celebration already lined up at your door — decorations, dinner, gifts — sticking to the family budget can be difficult, at best! That is, unless, you are smart enough to come up with creative ideas on how to spend Christmas with a bang without spending a lot.

Here are some tips:

1) Reuse paper, bows and decorations.

Since Christmas happens every year, it is a good idea to reuse decorations and other yuletide materials for succeeding years.

Christmas trees and Christmas decorations, for instance, may be used over and over again until they wear out. If the family wants to create something different every year, they can always work with decorations that are already there and then buy some new ones to spruce the old ones up.

Although some families still opt for a real pine tree during the Christmas season, most use artificial ones, as they are more cost-effective and practical.

Christmas materials that can be recycled are yuletide decorations like lanterns, plates, table runners, curtains, bed sheets, pillowcases and all those home furnishings with Christmas designs. Using the same things year after year can however be pretty tiring. What you can perhaps do is to add a new element every year or to alternately use the home decors.

When storing materials that you will use again, make sure that you put them in a place that is easily accessible. Carefully store them in boxes and put them in a cool dry place to prevent moisture from coming in.

2) Make your own gifts.

Use your creativity to save money and still come up with the best celebration. Instead of buying Christmas pillowcases, sheets and place mats, you can create your own designs. Take a look at your house and look for things that you can use. For instance, instead of buying artificial flowers for a Christmas centerpiece, why not make use of the flowers that you grow in your garden? Another idea is to buy some small decors in craft stores and use them to spruce up curtains, runners and pillowcases.

3) You can make your own Christmas tree decorations. In fact, some people even personalize their Christmas tree decorations by putting the photographs of each family member on the tree. Young children in the family can also use the projects that they have made in school to decorate the family tree. Decoration-making is also a fun way for parents and children to bond.

4) Make your own gift cards, wrappers and table cards for dinner celebrations. Why buy when it is easy to make your own? All you need to do is gather some craft materials that may be sitting in your attic. You will be amazed at how fun it is to make your own Christmas wrapping paper and gift cards. You can coordinate them with each other and they will be totally unique!

5) Save money on the Holiday Meals.

Going out to eat may pose several advantages, two of which are, you don’t have to prepare the food and you don’t have to wash the dishes. Still, eating at a restaurant can chip away at a major portion of your Christmas budget. If you don’t have extra money, it is advisable to just stay at home and cook dinner yourself. In addition to saving a lot of money, you will also be able to control the ingredients, making sure that they are not only delicious but also nutritious.

To economize and add some surprise to the menu, you can ask your guests to bring a dish. One family can prepare the appetizer while the other family will take care of the dessert. This way, the cost of the dinner will not only be shouldered by the host family but by everyone in the guest list. And it will add entertainment and conversation as you lift the lid off the dishes to uncover the blessing within!

I have put together a list of things you need to do just in case you bring a woman back to your place from a date or just some woman you pick up.

Follow these guidelines so you will be prepared and make a good impression:

Is your bed made up and do you have clean sheets and pillowcases? Make sure your toilet and bathtub are spotless. I can assure you they will look and if they are dirty they will be turned off. Put a fresh roll of toilet paper on. Have your fresh condoms ready and near your bed. If she spends the night, be sure to have something for her to eat for breakfast (bacon, eggs, and toast would be ideal). Turn the volume on your answering machine down. You don’t want to be embarrassed if one of your girlfriends or ex-girlfriends calls and leaves an intimate message. If you have a dimmer switch for your lights, turn them down low before leaving. If you don’t have a dimmer switch, install very low wattage light bulbs in your lights. This is to create a soft and romantic atmosphere when you have a woman over. If you have a fireplace, put some logs on or have a Duraflame log ready to light. This way everything is ready to light up when you bring a girl over. Be sure and use this great prop for creating an intimate seductive setting. I’ve seduced lots of single women with my fireplace. Have your soft and romantic music out and ready to put on after you hit the door with your date. Make sure your bar is stocked with liquor, wine, beer, and champagne so you can offer her a drink. Make sure your icebox is clean and does not smell (tip – have an open box of baking soda in there to help absorb odors). Trust me, single women notice little things like what your icebox looks like. Make sure you have something to snack on in case you decide to watch a movie or TV. Make sure your house or apartment is clean before you leave. Most single women are turned off by a dirty, unclean, and cluttered place. She may get the impression that you are a lazy slob. This is really important – Make sure you have on clean and fresh underwear with no holes. Take a look around and make sure there’s nothing laying around in your closet or in your drawers that would indicate another woman has been around (women will peek in your closet and your drawers). Don’t forget to bring your breath mints. It’s a big turn-off to women if you have bad breath. I would also recommend having your candles and massage oil ready. You should always offer your date a massage as part of your seduction routine.
